About AURI
Premium matcha, honestly made.
AURI was born from a simple observation: most matcha on the market isn't very good. Dull green powders marketed as “ceremonial grade.” Ingredient lists with more additives than tea. Products that taste nothing like what you'd find in a tea house in Kyoto.
We set out to fix that. AURI sources matcha directly from first-harvest tea farms in Uji, Kyoto — Japan's most revered matcha-growing region, with a tradition stretching back over 800 years. Our matcha is shade-grown, hand-picked, de-stemmed, and stone-ground using traditional granite mills. The result is a powder that's vibrant green, naturally sweet, rich in umami, and free of any additives.
We believe premium doesn't mean exclusive. AURI exists to make genuine, high-quality matcha accessible — whether you're a first-time drinker curious about what matcha actually tastes like, or a daily practitioner who knows exactly what they're looking for.

We work directly with tea farmers in Uji to source first-harvest tencha. Every batch is tested and tasted before it leaves Japan.
